1 Acceptance of Terms | القبول بالشروط

By accessing the StoryHero website (storyhero.store), creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or are acting under parental or guardian consent.
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
• You accept our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy as part of these terms.

2 Products & Personalization | المنتجات والتخصيص

• All StoryHero products are 100% personalized and created specifically per order. They cannot be resold, exchanged with another party, or returned due to change of mind.
• The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all personalization details submitted (child's name, gender, age, photo, etc.).
• StoryHero will produce exactly what is submitted. We are not liable for errors resulting from incorrect customer input.
• Product images on the website are illustrative. Actual personalized output may differ slightly in style or layout while maintaining quality standards.

3 Ordering & Payment | الطلب والدفع

• All prices are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• StoryHero reserves the right to update prices at any time without prior notice.
• An order is confirmed only after successful payment processing or confirmed COD agreement.
• We reserve the right to cancel any order in case of pricing errors, fraud suspicion, or stock unavailability, with a full refund issued.
• Promotional offers and discount codes cannot be combined unless explicitly stated and are valid for the specified period only.

4 Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy | سياسة الدفع عند الاستلام

By selecting Cash on Delivery as your payment method, you agree to the following:

• You commit to being present and available to receive and pay for the order upon delivery.
• You acknowledge that the product has been exclusively personalized for your child and cannot be returned to stock or resold.
• Production and delivery costs are incurred regardless of whether the order is collected.

5 Intellectual Property | حقوق الملكية الفكرية

• All story content, illustrations, characters, artwork, and templates created by StoryHero remain the exclusive intellectual property of StoryHero FZ LLC.
• Customers are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use the personalized product for private enjoyment only.
• Reproduction, redistribution, resale, or commercial use of any StoryHero content without written permission is strictly prohibited.
• The customer's submitted photos and personal data are used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order.

6 Privacy & Data | الخصوصية وبياناتك

• We collect personal data (name, address, phone, photos of children) solely to fulfill and deliver your order.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Photos and names submitted for personalization are stored securely and deleted after order fulfillment unless the customer consents to retention.
• By submitting a child's photo, the customer confirms they have the legal right to submit that image (e.g., parent or legal guardian).

7 Content & Media Rights | حقوق المحتوى والوسائط

• Customers who share reviews, photos, or videos of StoryHero products on social media grant StoryHero a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost or feature that content for marketing purposes, with credit where possible.
• In cases of undelivered or refused COD orders (as detailed in Section 4), StoryHero may use the personalized content created for that order in promotional materials.
• We will never publicly reveal the full name, home address, or contact details of any customer.

8 Limitation of Liability | تحديد المسؤولية

• StoryHero's total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the total value paid for that specific order.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, or missed gifting occasions caused by delivery delays outside our control.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses, customer unavailability, courier issues, or force majeure events.

9 Disputes & Governing Law | النزاعات والقانون المطبق

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
• In the event of a dispute, we encourage customers to contact us directly first at info@storyhero.store for an amicable resolution.
• Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.

10 Changes to Terms | تغيير الشروط

StoryHero reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the website or placement of an order after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
